What kinds of projects can I deploy?
Any static web project with an index.html file. HTML5 games, single-page apps (after building), creative coding experiments with p5.js or Three.js, portfolios, landing pages, and more. We detect your project structure automatically.
How does monetization work?
We wrap your project in a lightweight shell that displays non-intrusive ads. For games, ads appear at natural break points like game-over screens. For websites, a small banner appears at the top. We handle all ad network integration, consent, and compliance.
How do I earn revenue?
Revenue from ads on your project is tracked and attributed to you. We operate on a revenue-sharing model — you earn a percentage of ad revenue your project generates. The more visitors, the more you earn. An earnings dashboard is coming soon.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no cost to deploy or host your project. MakerLink earns through a share of the ad revenue, so we only make money when your project makes money. Hosting, SSL, and CDN are all included.
What ad formats do you use?
We use Google ad technology to serve relevant, non-intrusive ads. Current formats include banner ads and interstitial ads shown at natural break points in games. Rewarded ads are coming soon. All ads include GDPR-compliant consent.
Can I remove my project?
Yes. You retain full ownership. Contact us at hello@makerlink.net to request removal, or redeploy with the --no-ads flag to host without monetization.
